Hypnosis Certification

The aim of the Hypnosis Certification course is to give students an extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of hypnosis techniques, and to train them to be efficient in inducing the hypnotic state in themselves, in others, and in the effective management of hypnosis when in the tranceHypnosis certification blue swirl state.

Hypnosis is used during the training to accelerate and imprint the learning’s of the course at the unconscious level. Your tutors will demonstrate the various techniques with plenty of live, audio and visual presentations. There will be plenty of practical exercises giving students the opportunities to learn the hypnotic techniques in the safety and comfort of the training environment.

This is an amazing and unique course during which you will learn the structure of hypnosis as created, pioneered and originally taught by some of the worlds leading hypnotists Milton H Erickson (a medical practitioner of hypnosis) Dr Richard Bandler (acknowledged by many as the worlds greatest hypnotist) and Paul McKenna (possibly the world’s most successful and well known hypnotist).

You will learn skills; techniques and seemingly magical secrets that few traditionally trained Hypnotherapists even know about, let alone use.

Who should come on this course?

This course is suitable for anyone wishing to learn hypnosis for personal development or self improvement as well as providing essential foundation skills for those wishing to develop their skills further for a career in therapy, coaching or consulting through our diploma programme. No previous experience or knowledge of hypnosis is required for you to come on this course. If you already hold hypnosis qualifications you will still learn many techniques that most Hypnotherapists are unaware of.

Study options.
Option One: Certificate of Attendance. Students can elect to simply attend and participate in the course for their own personal development, interest and enjoyment. All students will receive a Certificate of Attendance signed by the course tutors.

Option Two: Certificate of Completion. Cert(HYP) During the course your work will be assessed and you will receive ongoing feedback from the tutors. You will receive study work and reading that must be completed and handed in. After the course you will undertake and complete an open book exam (at home) and create and submit a completed hypnosis script to demonstrate an understanding and successful application of the skills learnt during the course. The exam and script are to be completed and returned to the tutors for assessment within one month of the last day of the course. All students who submit a suitable piece of work will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by the course tutors. Anyone wishing to undertake the Aventesi Diploma programme will be required to pass the Certificate of Completion.

Study Time: Approx. 65 hours on the course and 4 hours home study. Students who successfully attend all the training and complete all the study and work modules will be awarded the accreditation of CERTIFICATE in Hypnosis.  Cert(HYP)

Course syllabus.

1. The structure of hypnosis, how hypnosis works, the science of the mind.
2. Accessing previous trance states, using naturally occurring trances.
3. Inductions, how to go into trance easily, you will learn a wide variety of  techniques including instant, progressive and covert ways to induce trance states in yourself and others.
4. Enhancing and utilising trance states using verbal pacing, representational systems, language patterns, ideo-motor responses, rhythm and tone of voice, anchoring and utilising positive states,
5. Creating your own unique hypnotic voice
6. Trance deepeners how to access deep states, wake up and clean up routines.
7. Utilization techniques including reframing, metaphors and story telling.
8. Dealing with abreactions and contra-indicators.
9. Advanced hypnotic techniques. Positive and negative hallucinations, deep trance phenomena, amnesia and anaesthesia.
10. Applications of hypnosis with common presenting problems including addictions, smoking, weight loss, anxieties, PNI, healing and psychosomatic disorders .
11. Hypnosis in practice, the structure of a hypnosis session common uses, consulting tips, legal, moral and ethical issues, practice building, creating recordings.

The sequence and range of subjects taught may vary from that presented.

Course dates and fees

• Mon 11th till Sun 17th February 2013

The course is run over 7 days with start times at 9.30 am till approximately 5.00pm. There will be mid morning and mid afternoon refreshment breaks (refreshments included) and a lunch break of approximately 90 minutes (lunch excluded). Break times may vary.

Normal Course Fees. £995. When booking you simply pay a £100 deposit to reserve your space on the course (this is non refundable) and pay the course balance no later than 8th January 2013.

Early Bird Offers. £795. Pay for the course in full before 7th December 2012.

Course fees include mid morning and mid afternoon light refreshments and comprehensive study notes which will be given out to students as the course progresses. Please note lunch is not provided but there are plenty of restaurants and shops only a 5-minute walk from the venue in Kingston, LONDON..
